Years of Trust

1947

A Humble Beginning

The roots of our company were laid by Mr. Manohar Lal Ganga Dhar Bansal, who started trading pulses with a vision to deliver the finest quality products to customers. This marked the beginning of a legacy that has spanned over 70 years, making us a trusted name in the industry.

2003

A New Era of Manufacturing

In 2003, Mr. Anish Bansal, the grandson of Manohar Lal Ganga Dhar Bansal, revolutionized the company by establishing our first manufacturing plant – Annapurna Foods Industries – at C-348, DSIIDC, Narela, Delhi. This marked the beginning of our expansion into manufacturing, strengthening our position in the market.

2009

Expanding Our Reach

Our growth continued as we opened S R Food Industries at G-982-983, DSIIDC, Narela, Delhi in 2009. This new facility enabled us to scale up production & meet the growing demand for premium quality pulses.

2013

Further Growth & Expansion

In 2013, we established another manufacturing unit under the name S. R. Food Industries at J-3181, DSIIDC, Narela, Delhi. This addition reinforced our capacity to deliver high-quality pulses to a wider market.

2019

National Expansion & Consolidation

In 2019, all Narela-based units were consolidated under SRFI Pulses Pvt. Ltd., strengthening the brand and streamlining operations. This move made the company more efficient and competitive in the food manufacturing space. Expansion into Maharashtra followed with S K Dal Mill & Cold Storage in Akola, boosting reach across southern and western India.

2024

Embracing Sustainability & Going Global

In 2024, Healthy Bharat ( SRFI Pulses Private Limited) took a major step toward sustainability by setting up a 2-megawatt solar power plant for self-consumption. This initiative is part of our ongoing commitment to reducing our environmental footprint and promoting green energy. Furthermore, we have expanded our global footprint by starting to export pulses to international markets, providing high-quality products to customers around the world.
